Well this is my first time as a “guest” blogger – so please go easy on me!
I LOVE reading Sarah’s blog, and since I am a fellow blogger (and have left many comments for her) she asked that I help her out whenever I think of one of MY personal faves.
So here you go – my first personal fave…Belly Bands! Now, belly bands are the same as Bella Bands (which is an actual brand of them). Basically, these are a piece of stretchy fabric made for pregnant women that we can put around our waist. What is so special about that, you ask? Well, first of all, it comes in many colors, and some come with lace on the bottom (like the white one I have). Right now I am pregnant with my second, and am wearing them to keep my regular pants up. You know that annoying stage where your real pants don’t fit but the maternity pants are too big? Enter belly bands. These go over the top of your pants, so no one can see that they are not buttoned or zipped all the way!
FYI, they also come in handy right AFTER having the baby, including holding up maternity pants that are still comfy but a little too big in the waist.
These are a style life-saver. I am able to wear my jeans/work pants much further along in my pregnancy than I would have been able to. And think about it – the cost of two or three of these is much cheaper than buying a bunch of “in between” pant sizes you’ll only wear for a couple months!

Thanks so much for being my first guest poster!! I wish I would’ve tried this when I was pregnant with Graham because the rubber band trick was really annoying. I will totally pick one up for next time but don’t get too excited people… not yet.

I regret going through 2 pregnancies with complete discomfort when there were belly bands out there to save me!!! If there is ever a next time, I’m getting these for sure!
I LOVE bella bands!! I was able to prolong the dreaded maternity clothes shopping experience till I was in my 6 month!!
