Betsy and Kim... glad you like this too! Bets, it must be because you have two children swinging at once!! We are still on our first set of batteries. Your kids are really close in age right? God bless you managing two little ones!! I don't know how people with twins do it either.

We have the same swing! Sebastien was (is?) a chunk too (15 lbs at 3 months and 18 lbs at 4 months. Now he's 24 lbs at 9 months). When he was like 5 months, I started using this just for him to sit up in and no longer swing. I also fed him his first cereal in it until he fit better in his high chair. And I totally agree on the music. The swing has now been put away for good, but I do miss the music!

I will comment so that someone other than your husband has participated. :) I think we have the full-size version of this swing. Norah liked it until she was about 8 months. I do wish they made swings that could be plugged into an electrical outlet - we went through tons of batteries between the swing and our two bouncy seats that vibrated and there's nothing worse than trying to change batteries while your child screams. We were lucky to have friends-of-friends who live in a Chicago condo with their twins. They were desperate to clear out all their baby gear ASAP, so we ended up on the receiving end of some great gently-used items.
