Who secretly loves Victoria Beckham? I do only it’s not so secretly. I will admit that she’s a touch too thin but the woman looks fab after having three kids. And she has a hot husband and hot wardrobe. So, if she recommends something I will probably try it. (My husband always tells me I am an advertiser’s dream come true. Sigh. True.)
Anyway, my friend Angela gave me Victoria Beckham’s book. The book is set up so that you can easily skim around, which I like. When Angela and I got pregnant a few months apart from each other we totally turned to Posh Spice for some recommendations. She said that she used Elemis’ Japanese Camellia Oil to prevent stretch marks for all three pregnancies. Naturally, so did Angela and I.
It’s good stuff. I seriously don’t have one stretch mark on my stomach, which is where I applied the oil nightly while pregnant. Go ahead though and slather it some other places. No one told me that you can get stretch marks almost anywhere! I know all the medical research says that stretch marks are genetic and no creams or oils can prevent them but I figured… it can’t hurt to try!

Thanks to Sarah’s post about this product, I ordered it promptly after finding out I was pregnant. I can proudly say that I don’t have one stretch mark as a result of pregnancy. I used it daily from about week 20 until the birth. My baby was born almost 3 weeks early, so who knows what might have happened had she made it to the due date. But I’m a believer in this product!

Thanks Alison! I’m glad it worked for you too. I even passed my bottle on to Erin as well. How’s being a new mom treating you???
