If you have flawless skin no need to read this post. For the rest of us there is an awesome product out there from Benefit (of course) called Honey Snap Out of It. I have been a huge Benefit fan since one summer I befriended the girl who worked at the counter at Bloomingdale’s (what can I say, I had a lot of time on my hands pre-baby!)
Anyway, I had stopped by to pick up a refill of something and the girl said, “Have you ever tried exfoliating?” Of course I had not… I was a just wash it before I go to bed type of girl. I looked at her a little dubiously when she was like, “You really need to try this…it’s so great…yada yada yada ” I thought she was just giving me the usual buy another product routine. She gave me a free sample. I took it home. I exfoliated. I was hooked.
Honey Snap Out of it is a gentle exfoliator that says it is to be used in the morning (I don’t know why it just says that so that’s what I do.) It smells heavenly. The first month I used it I was so shocked and awed about how nice my skin felt I literally made all my girlfriends touch my cheek. It clears away dead skin and leaves my face feeling as soft as it ever has (I’m not even going to compare it to a baby b/c really, nothing compares to that!) I only use it 3 times a week so it’s not even a huge pain in the ass. i wouldn’t have stuck to it for so long if it was! Happy Exfoliating!

I love Benefit! My favorites are benetint, hula bronzer and eyecon. I went on a shopping spree there the other day and I remembered you talking about this so I grabbed it – haven’t tried it yet, but I’ll let you know. I told the girl at the Southport location, Natalie, about your blog and she sends a big thank you! Then she gave me some free samples, so… good deal!
I love that you talked about the blog at the Benefit store!! I go to the one on Southport all the time. There will definitely be more Benefit products to come on my personal faves. And people, take a hint from Caitlin and spread the word to friends, coworkers, or in her case strangers, about the site!
I’m definitely interested in trying this product. I’ve never had any experience with Benefit. One of my favorite exfoliating products is by Dermalogica called daily microfoliant. It comes in a powder that when mixed with water turns into a creamy paste. It too does wonders!
