Dear visitors from ThingsIBoughtThatILove.com:
No, the site has not been hijacked, Mindy let the domain name expire and we bought it in an auction at Godaddy.com. We’ve pointed it to our site for now.
We understand our blog probably won’t be as good as Mindy’s, but we’re hoping something is better than nothing. We were also fans of her blog and the last post seems to have been from 2008. You can find an archive of the entire previous site at http://web.archive.org/web/20080413064143/http://thingsiboughtthatilove.com/ if you ever want to see the old site content.
Mindy, if you’re out there and ever want to start the site back up, just let us know and we’d be happy to help.

I’m nowhere near as funny as Mindy but the products, movies, recipes, etc. we write about are accessible to average people. One positive right?!
her last post was in may of 09… would you happen to know why the last of her blogs aren’t in the archive?
You’re right that the last post was May ’09… I read the one about that belted dress several times! It was really funny. I’m sorry, I really don’t know why her blogs aren’t in the archive.
I was googling around and found this link too: http://mindyephron.blogspot.com
If there were posts past May 08, I can’t find them. If someone could post some of the actual content of that post here, we might be able to find if/where the most recent posts exist on the web.
the titles and first sentence or so still shows up in my google reader. here’s the most recent few:
Neon Stuff
from things i bought that i love
Two seasons ago, Marc Jacobs had the most incredible neon accessories. But I don’t shop at Marc Jacobs, with it’s intimidating protruding Melrose/Melrose Place facade and its skinny rocker boys holding the doors open. I shop across the street at Marc by Marc Jacobs, where the atmosphere inside is comforting and creative, like Harvey Milk High.
Summer tees

Hey guys! I apologize for not posting for a while. I was kidnapped, but it turned out to be a pretty cute situation like “Raising Arizona”, not “Taken”. Then it turned into one of those Stockholm Syndrome things and I stayed for quite a bit longer on that compound than I imagined.

Fitted bandage-style dresses are super sexy. Who didn’t love Kate Winslet rocking those snug little Herve Leger dresses all over the place this past awards season? Her body looked insane, and it was like an announcement: “Hey that little weirdo in Heavenly Creatures is kind of a crazy hot blond now.” Go, Clementine Krucyznski!
Perfect. Here are some links we found that contain these posts:

Hope that helps.
Nice to see this domain being used again! And undereye circles – the bane of my facial existence!
I heard through a friend of mine that Mindy may want to blog again (she follows Mindy on Twitter. I don’t tweet.) Mindy, please feel free to start again! Your fans are missing your site terribly. Contact us when you’re ready to resume your site!!
