This blogging about food I like is really bad for my diet. Thankfully I figure if I work out then I can indulge my sweet tooth. It’s like when I order a non-fat hot chocolate with whip cream at Starbucks… evens out right?? Writing about the cake at Sweet Mandy B’s is seriously making me want some, never mind the fact I’m writing about it at 9 in the morning. Located at 1208 W. Webster, it’s a cute little store with an extremely helpful staff.
So I hear that everything they make is awesome. I’ve had cake and cupcakes. They also made some adorable cookies for my sister-in-law Erin’s baby shower. All I can say is if the rest of their products compare to the cake then… wow. Just wow. I’ve had chocolate cake, yellow cake, strawberries in the middle, they do it all. The almond cupcake was freaking amazing. I’ve had their cakes at engagement parties, baby showers, and my son’s baptism. They’re just a crowd pleaser. I’m always hoping I have leftovers after a gathering (which is rare but a girl can hope.) If you don’t want to just take my word for it, check out the site below that also gives it rave reviews.
